Hello and welcome to another episode to I Am Christina DiArcangelo! I am so excited to begin the 2023 season with today's guest, Anita Nowak. As a long-time teacher at McGill University, her focus has been on social entrepreneurship and leadership. Anita is also the author of the book "Purposeful Empathy" Tapping Our Hidden Superpower for Personal, Organizational, and Social Change.
She has spent her career helping to develop her students to understand how to give their time, talents, and personal gifts to better our current world and the environment around them. Through a series of interviews, she discovered a common theme of empathy that has globally inspired a movement to practice and utilize this skill and became the subject of her book.
